Inspired by Flickr, I combined this infrared image of Sheila with a texture overlay. It began as a sepia color, but I prefer it as a BW.

Portrait of Monique
I love the feeling in this. Monique had just returned from art school in Paris, and wanted some images of herself for some self portraits she was working on.
Figure, in blue
From a on-going series of the figure and nature. This overlay was a grove of birch trees.
Embrace
It was a thing of beauty to watch Sheila create sensuous image after image with just one sheer piece of fabric and her graceful movements. Some models just have it,,, and she did.

Josh on trumpet
Head shots don't have to be... well, "head" shots. Musicians, dancers, and models all must have compelling images with which to market their talent. We do heads, bodies, legs, feet.... We do creative photography here.

Pensive Eve, in sepia
I can create many looks from one image. By cropping, lightening, darkening, and toning, I can change the whole feel of the image.

I'm looking for a few fresh faces...
Yes, I'm looking for just a few new faces, special ones, the kind that the camera loves. If you have a certain "presence" in front of the camera, and if you light up when someone points the camera your way, then I'd like to take your picture for my new website and and portfolio. When you do a shoot with me, you will get some great pictures (prints), and a CD with all of the images, to use any way you wish. And, you'll have fun!
Bring two flattering tops to wear, one dark, and one light. Black is always dramatic! Bring accessories, hats, gloves, jewelry, etc. Your photo session will be at my studio in Portsmouth, 2701 East Main Road, and takes about 90 minutes or so. I'll post your shoot on a private page on my website, and make up several 8x10s for you, as well as burn a disk of the session as full res jpegs, for your own use.
