Head shots don't have to up close and personal. They can be back a bit. Whatever... But they should show a mood, or create a feeling. In fact, some of my best pictures do not emphasize clothing at all; Kristy was just wearing a simple off the shoulder wrap. It's a good idea to bring a necklace, earrings, etc. because they help say something about you.By the way, I have lots of images on Flicker on a variety of subjects. Take a look.
